Im so sorry Rob.

Somehow, in my rush to post my contribution to Node666 I failed to credit one of the most dedicated and professional showmen seen since Tucker Carlson He is the heart and soul of the Send More Brains Players, and in his dedication to the role of Zombie Captive he actually ate a human brain, his work ethic is clearly unparalleled. I only hope he can find a way to forgive me.

Here Rob and I are thumbing our noses at convention and propriety while we backpacked through W.Europe 2004.

It´s aliiiiiive! Bwaha ha haaa

Blog Abroad Vlog Post Appears!

So my first official vlog post for Blogabroad is up, its from our trip to Santorini during our 3 day marathon through the Greek Isles. Something is wrong with the audio and I dont know how to fix it, but I dont think it will happen on the other videos. My next video will be a pretty exciting one from the mayhem that is a Real Madrid game, one I went to a month ago, but I feel its necessary to mention Saturday while I was at the Atletico Madrid game Barca destroyed Villa Real 4 - 0, including Ronaldinho´s bicycle kick goal from around the pk line. ANYWAY...back to class. Hope all three of you enjoy the video.

Roma y Firenze!

Last wednesday our group left at 4 in the AM for our 6:30 AM flight to Rome. We had booked a different flight but the airline cancelled it and then forced us onto this one. Upon reaching the airport the airline to which our tickets had been transferred denied having our reservations. So at 5 AM we called Raffa, our official travel agent/anti-Franco pro-Atletico Madrid (futbol team) overall kickass guy (to use the parlance of our times). He had words with the airlines. Strong words. Words that got us on our flight to Italy. We stopped in Pisa on the way to Florence. The tower was still there if you were wondering. It's "still tippin' on 44's". (mike jones!)

We then hit Florence, saw the David and the leather markets. The usual.

Rome: We were in town for the wedding of Joey Potter and Cruise Control, and though I didn't see them a group of my friends stumbled upon the hotel where the guests were staying and saw Beckham, Victoria Beckham, J.Lo, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett and the guy from Access Hollywood recording a promo. "When in Rome...if you're invited to this event you better be dressed to the 9's" He kept messing up his lines and they laughed, which he noticed. Later, it's said that a single tear escaped his make up and fake bake encrusted skin. :*(

We saw all the sites, Vatican, Basillica, Colloseum etc. and then went out afterwards, at least I did with some friends. One night we ran into a group of Italian guys and one particularly vulgar individual harassed a female friend of mine. The situation almost got bad however she can handle herself like a pro and I calmed everyone down by bonding over Family Guy. I told them I was from New England and they said, "oh yes, greenfield...grifield...griffin! That is where Peter Griffin is from." Problem solved.

The weather was absurd, sunny and hot, perfect for justifying multiple Gelato stops. First video should be posted on StudyAbroad today, hope everyone likes it though I maintain its still just raw and pretty rough footage of my experiences so dont judge it too harshly, it's certainly no AmandaAcrossAmerica or Galacticast.

The good news is there will be more videos to come! Including but not limited to, 1 raucous Real Madrid game (I still am a serious Barca fan) and countless other excursions across the mediterranean. Peace!

paris/amsterdam

so in the last week Ive been in Paris, seen my dear parents and good friend Matt Miller, saw morissons grave along with a number of other attractions including zoos, eiffel towers and crepe places. Then came Amsterdam with the canals, the coooold and rainy weather and the Heineken Brewery Experience which is more like an amusement park than a museum. Delicious. Now this evening we have a 9:30 ish flight home to Madrid and then its back to school. wooh! what a week.
